Default SGC new labels

Every time that I’ve had an issue with why a card graded a certain way I’ve been told, “We don’t get notes from the graders!”

I find these new authentic flips helpful determining why it graded thattaway!!!

I was just getting used to the “big A” which I thought was simple but elegant, in its own way. I think it’s a good thing to know why your card was labeled authentic.

I shipped off a T206 Demmitt ST Louis last week for grading, got it back yesterday and it had the nice, beautiful A on it. My wife loved that and we both agreed that it adds more to the card vs a 1 or 2 ever would. It took a week for the process, and I couldn't be more happy.

Anything that gives more information about a card is really great, happy to see the change. But I wonder what gets "Authentic Altered" if there are "trimming" and "color added", etc. That leaves a little mystery to what altered is...maybe crease-pressing, cleaning/whitening, things like that maybe fall under that umbrella I guess.

This is very helpful to know in terms of cracking out for the buyer, or better yet, even buying, this is very buyer friendly; I like it but only for determination and cracking, not keeping. Sometimes it’s hard to tell what the issue is in a slab unless it's obvious. If a card is re-colored, you don’t want to crack if they say Miscut or trimmed. That’s their opinion. I respect that; however, you can weigh your opinions and either break and try again or try with another TPG.

Very Buyer Friendly!!

Sellers not so much, this IMO gives a big advantage to the buyers

It is getting to the point where SGC only needs 4 Authentic Flips with the sub grades. It is hard enough to get a numerical grade out of them.

I kid, I kid.

Pretty sure that my wife would look at me as if to say "and I care - why?""
