The first ball looks like it's from the 1982 California Angels:

The second ball, with Phil Nevin and Scott Schoeneweis, appears to be from either 1998 or 1999 Angels' spring training. Nevin was traded at the end of March '99, to the Padres.
So, the autograph with #38 on it, is probably Nelson Castro. There is a picture of him on Getty Images, that indicates he wore #38 in Angels spring training 1999. Steve
