I've never met the guy, and have no idea if he's even a Net 54 member, but for the past few years I've learned a ton from his research articles in Sports Collectors Daily and elsewhere. Just read a great piece on a set I know nothing about (1921 Self Developing Strip Cards). A guy who seems to contribute a great deal to the hobby in an understated low key way. Writes well and always finds interesting positive stuff to write about.

Nice to see articles about the hobby that don't always focus on crimes and lowlifes.

Agree. I always enjoy reading his pieces. Ironically, after reading his piece on the National, I realized I was standing next to him when he was reviewing some advertising cards he had not seen before. I just overheard a little of the conversation, but his enthusiasm was off the charts.
