Default 1907 Wolverine News Cobb batting questions?

Hello everyone!

If I could pick your collective brains for a moment...

Have an opportunity to buy one of these. Has paper loss top corners in front- not to bad, and some near stamp area on reverse... Have not yet seen the whole back...

Anyway just how rare are these? PSA shows 6 graded... 3 or four on VCP back to 2011 but not sure how many people would actually grade these and leave raw.

Also were these ever reproduced? Any tells if so?

Pricewise it would grade as A to 1.5 so going by VCP $3100 sale down to $780 for a SGC auth in 2018.. Is that a good ballpark?

I know this is a lot but info on these on the web is scant...

Many thanks in advance!

This one sold for $13,200 a few weeks ago at auction, gives you an idea how popular these cards are when they come up.

Wolverine batting is wicked rare, plus it’s 1907 and considered a rookie. I was lucky to get mine from a friend 2+ years ago, and it was not cheap. I have not seen one since. Get it if you can.
