Resource on Empty Topps Boxes

I recently purchased an empty 1968 Topps baseball box. I'd love to learn more about this box and empty boxes in general. Is there a good resource on the internet where I can find out more about them? Some blogger or web page that focuses on such things? Thanks so much.

I like the boxes too. The 1965 box is my favorite! I try to pick them up when the price is right.
eBay is a good source for checking out boxes of various years and to get s gauge on price.

There is no actual guide, book or online, that I am aware of, concerning these. VCP tracks prices possibly but there is not a lot of other info about them on the site.

I’ve been collecting them since 1982. All that time there wasn’t anything really that provided much information. For me basically it depends on what it’s worth to you. eBay you can go and see but other than that it’s what it is. I can tell you that the penny topps are more difficult than the five cent.

I too, am a boxes/display piece fan/collector. I would love to find a similar resource or online guide that people use to identify box. Lots of variations I discovered such as 10c and 15c boxes from 1974 Topps and 1975 Topps has dated and undated box....oh and what about box codes and figuring out what series went with each code.

I need a 1963 Topps and a 1965 Topps (embossed version) but love finding the obscure ones too.

I tend to buy them opportunistically when I find a good price. A reference guide that includes the boxes, unopened wax packs, wrappers, etc would be great.

Maybe this thread could evolve into an online repository as members add photos and info?

Otherwise, I've used information through internet searches and auction sites for insight.
