Babe Ruth's first wife
Has anyone read anything in depth about the death of Ruth's first wife in the house fire in Mass? I've seen very briefly in a few books essentially that they looked into the fire and determined it wasn't suspicious. Have never seen anything more than a very quick dismissal of any possibility of arson. Maybe there is nothing to review. Obviously if something like this happened today involving the world's largest star there would be a pretty incredible investigation (and speculation). Just curious how much of an investigation this really got at the time.

Her grave ain’t too far from where I live. Also in the cemetery right next door/close to being the same cemetery is Joe Dugan, HOF Tommy McCarthy, HOF Hugh Duffy and John L Sullivan.
