Seller claims this is freshly graded but it’s an old slab. Card has all the traits of a reprint. Thoughts?

The certificate # checks out as a match on PSA's site so unless the slab was tampered with and the card has been switched out with the original card graded, it is authentic.

Or they just couldn't/wouldn't tell, which is not a stretch

Looks alright to me. The wax staining on the front is hard to replicate on a reprint unless it was in the image that they copied over.

I'm not an expert on 50's cards, but the card seems legit to me.

Looks fine to me.
Many sellers look for a recent sale/listing and then click "sell similar" so that Ebay imports all of the specifics from the previous listing, saving time. If the seller doesn't change the title, you get the exact same title twice. Here is the recent sale that I would bet the seller did this with: https://www.ebay.com/itm/14401176787...p2047675.l2557 So, don't get caught up on the "freshly graded" part.

Definitely not "freshly graded" and corner wear is almost like they were scissor cut at some point. Can't imagine how all 4 rounded corners would end up nearly identical due to "normal" wear. Might look more reasonable in an "A" grade?

Undecided here. The only things I see that kinda scream - no good are the great centering and heavy but even corner wear. Other than that the card looks okay to me. I am not good at spotting altered holders in pictures -especially poor ones like in the listing. It is for sure NOT "freshly graded" as that is at best an old flip or at worst a fake flip? Clemente rookies are very available - I would just move on.

Yeah I’m trying to stay under $1500 on eBay that presents well. The description of freshly graded versus the old slab caused concern and the rounded corners look off. It could certainly be authentic but I won’t be the one to find out.
