1906 Chief Meyers - Anyone else got early Meyers photos?
A recent find that I thought could be of interest to some. Chief Meyers in 1906 at Dartmouth College. Although he never played an actual game at Dartmouth he did participate in spring training in 1906. Not sure there is another photo taken during his time at Dartmouth, so this is pretty cool.
Also in the photo (of no less interest) is HOF Tommy McCarthy, Dartmouth coach 1906-07. Meyers is standing, second from left. McCarthy is in the middle row, third from left. If anyone has any other early Meyers photos, post!

By the way, the story of Meyers' discovery by Dartmouth baseball and football star Ralph Glaze is pretty great. Shenanigans abound. There is a short sketch of it in this SABR story about Glaze, about halfway down the page:

Awesome find!
As a Meyers collector, I was curious as to whether he was ever pictured in a Dartmouth photo. Thanks for sharing!
