Sweet guitars. I like Gibsons more for looks but like playing Fenders because of the way thinner necks.

Yeah Casey, and there is definitely some corner wear too.

And Ben, I do have a ‘61 Gibson ES-345...

Would something like a '57 Telecaster be of interest for someone's '51/52 Mantle or '48 Jackie?

Love that strat!

Thanks Matt, it’s a ‘55 (second year) Strat that is miles ahead of anything else I’ve used in 30+ years of playing. The Tele is also the best example of a Tele I’ve played as well, as I’ve spent a long time building up a “best of the best” personal collection. I just don’t find myself using Telecasters as often.

If it were me, I don’t think I could trade away those guitars for cards. I’m actually thinking of stopping card purchases for a while to upgrade my guitars. I have a nice USA sunburst strat from about 2005 with a maple fretboard that’s pretty nice. I have a Korean made epiphone les Paul that plays well considering how much I paid for it ($250), but I’ve always wanted a legit standard Gibson Les Paul but the $2k price tag was too much.

A real pair of vintage 50s fenders is too awesome. If you do trade them, I hope it’s for something ridiculous!

Default Way stranger things

have occurred on this board! Not at that level with guitars, but enjoy playing a bit (and seeing nice guitar like the ones pictured)- looking to replace a steel-string acoustic Gibson I had years ago. Good luck with the trade!
