Sold card while we were negotiating. No heads up, no warning. Nice business practice. 🙄

“I’ll take it” trumping on-going negotiations is pretty standard I believe

Default thanks

Thanks Dan. That said, I am not going to bash Tony....he was inquiring in good faith. I had multiple people inquiring and it went to the first person committing to buy. I can understand Tony’s frustration as I have lost out on cards too. Several years ago, I waited a few minutes too long on a 1951 Bowman Mantle psa 6 for $4,000. So Tony is still ok in my book even if he stays mad at me.

Default great card

I'll take it is the magic phrase on here..... when I was a kid, I was selling a lawn mower out front of our house (this was back in the 1960s) .... I was asking $25 .... a guy I didnt know from down the street stopped and looked at it and said "Let me think about it" and left with no offer and I didnt even know who he was and how to reach him. My nextdoor neighbors Dad came by later and said he would take it for the $25 dollar asking price.........I told him well I dont know someone else was looking at it first....told my Dad and he said SELL MR YEE THE MOWER ..... so the deal was done and I learned that money on the table trumps "I will think about it" every time with no regrets! Never did hear from that other guy either!
