Default Mrs. Joe Jackson

Picked up this note, most likely to a fan requesting an autograph, written by Joe`s wife Katie. Interestingly Katie refers to Joe as "Mr. Jackson when informing the fan of Joe`s death. Do see Katie signing as "Joe Jackson" and occasionally "Shoeless Joe" but not to many items as "Mrs Joe Jackson". Keep the pieces coming guys never see enough. Doug that`s a very nice group shot sir, enjoy !

Kind of a redundant message written underneath with an interesting way of spelling Mathewson BUT still a pretty hard to find autograph. Now to figure out what to Matty it with.

Nice pickups Frank. Really love the Spalding as it's in very nice condition.

#152 for the collection, Harold Baines. Certainly not on the level of those above me

Hey, I needed to get Harold Baines also last year. I never saw him as HOFer, but what do I know?

Gulp, I sent a request to him months back. If I get my plaque back right after I just brought one, that's gonna suck.

It is a shame that he is using this rushed signature. When i got him in his playing days in the mid 1980's he had a nice signature.

I paid good money for that same rushed signature IP at the National last year.

Finally got around to framing a few items. A couple are older acquisitions, but the last one is brand new.

One of.my favorite recent tv series. Strike Back. 2 main characters. Sullivan Stapleton and Phillip Winchester.

Dave Grohl signed 11x14. The photo is from the RR HOF ceremonies where he and Taylor Hawkins introduced the induction of my favorite band, Rush. They then played the opening section of 2112 dressed as Rush from the 70s. Would love to add the other 2.

Lastly, signed cast photo from NYPD Blue. This is the third cast group after Rick Schroeder took over for Jimmy Smits. Still looking for a cast photo like this with Smits. Sigs are in gold so don't show up well in photo but are pretty clear in person.

I got it for a steal. I paid $60.
I think it was a combination of being silver pen that does not have great contrast with the photo, not being a high demand item, and that it had been sitting listed for a while. Plus there is a personalization that i was able to mat out.
There is a Smits cast one on ebay, but it is way overpriced imo. I will be patient. Lol

Oh. I did the framing myself last night, so there was no sig cost for that.

Love the Strike Back photo. Have been a big fan from the very beginning. I'd like to get a signed poster from one of the early seasons, but i'd have nowhere to display it...oh well.

Got this TTM today. Bob Aspromonte. One of the last living Brooklyn Dodgers. Original Colt .45s (1st HR). Original Astros (1st HR, and 1st HR in Astrodome). Texas HOF. Nicest baseball player all his career. Less than two week turn-around. Not many of these guys left. Nice surprise during COVID19.

Bob and his brother Ken are both super to collectors of TTM autographs. Both send back additional signed photos quite regularly. And both have fantastic signatures!

Hey, I recognize that place. It's the Gantry and is located at NASA Langley where I work. See it almost every day. It's now a National Historic Landmark, but being near the salt water really takes its toll on the structure.

There are a couple of famous shots of Aldrin and Armstrong in front of the Gantry, but I've never seen this one.

Default Roy Ostergard WWI Service Signed Postcard

One of the coolest signatures I have found.

Roy "Red" Ostergard only played in 12 games for the 1921 White Sox and is probably not on many people's want lists, but I stumbled across this postcard written by Roy while in service in 1917 at the USNTS in San Francisco. He has written "can you pick me out" on the front picture of a military parade.
