Is this possible
I thought this card came out in 1987 and he died in 1986? Did it come out earlier? Also the 2nd card- is it a 1988 Dover or a 1972 TCMA. Any ideaaa Greenberg 1987 All time greats.jpg
aaGreenberg 1988 Goudey reprint or could be 1972tcma.jpg |

He died of cancer in September 1986. A few possible solutions:
-these cards were released in August 1986 (like a car model year) or before and he signed a few of them before he passed away. -Hygrade asked the living players to sign a few when they were producing them but before they released them. -it's a fake and PSA/DNA missed it I draw zero conclusions but just a few thoughts about the card. |

that's up to you. I was just giving other possibilities that are equally as possible as a PSA error. Not enough info in a quick search to see when the set was actually released.

I couldnt find out when they were released. If it was 1986 or 1987? I researched the 1936 Goudey reprint further. It seems most were 1988 Dover reprint tho there were some 1972 TCMA. I won't be reunited with that card so I won't know until late October which mine is- hopefully a 1972 and not a signed from the grave 1988.
This still leaves the Hygrade baseball all time greats in question. Last edited by theshleps; 08-26-2019 at 04:38 PM. |

“Equally as possible”?? LOL. Just because you come up with three possibilities, that doesn’t mean each them is equally likely to be true.
