Frank Leahy
I'm a baseball collector with very little experience when it comes to football and autographs. I picked up this football with several signatures, including Frank Leahy. All the signatures are in a different hand and I could find no record of any of the other names.
To my layman's eye, the Leahy seems to match up in many ways to the signatures I see on line, with one exception being a little more flourish at the top and bottom of the F. I purchased this for three dollars at a flea market, so if the signature is not real, the motive was not to make a financial gain. I'm wondering what the experienced autograph collectors think -- thanks in advance for your help! Greg |

Probably originally authentic, but it looks like it was traced over again with a different pen / marker.

Thanks Jason! I never considered that possibility.

It’s hard to tell wothout having it in hand. It could be original as there is age over the ink so don’t completely dismiss it. Are there other autographs on the ball?
