Interesting opening bids on some of the Old Judges. I didn’t realize that the market had run up like that..

I follow the n172 Giants cards a little bit, and would say that the n172 Danny Richardson in the SGC 2.5 holder would sell between $175 and $350. With an opening bid of $600 and the vig, I would not be a bidder.

I would not be surprised to see this card on ebay with a BIN of $725, but it is an unusual starting bid in an auction format. That said, all cards are difficult to estimate these days, and unless you follow certain cards in the n172 set, it can be difficult to place an accurate market value on them. Rob

Surprised to see the Buyers Premium was raised to 23%.

I must have missed the announced change. Not a very pleasant surprise.

Do the final prices I see on the site include the buyers premium?

I see something that sold and I am curious if I add 23% to that.

In fairness it goes onto say, in bold red letters-

NOTE: a 3% discount for all payments by check, cash, money order or wire transfer.


and David, my guess is you still add 20% as a final value as we all know using certain forms of payment cost close to, or 3%. That is my guess. If you buy/win something it is either 20% or 23% depending on how you pay. I almost always choose the lesser of the percentages forms of payment. To each their own though.
