1962 Exhibits Black & Red Backs

Hi, everyone. I'm aware that the 1962 Exhibits have variations with either black and red statistics on back. PSA recognizes both variations. However, I've seen photos of a Nellie Fox that appear to show a blue statistic back variation. I haven't seen the card person. Has anyone here seen one? Could it just be a faded black one? Do blue stat backs exist for 1962 Exhibits?

Hi Tony,

The black stat backs are from 1962 and the red ones are from 1963. I haven't seen a blue back one before. Would be cool to see a scan of one though.

Hi Tony:

You are correct that the 62 Exhibits come with both red and black stats on the reverse.

I HIGHLY doubt that once you see the card in question it will be a black back. Photos and scans often do not correctly represent reality. All kinds of things have a way of distorting what appears if it were in your hand.

You say you have not seen the card in person. If and when you do please update on what you see.
