Joe Dimaggio's Mercedes
By far the oddest piece of baseball memorabilia anyone has ever tried to sell me, but there is a buyer for everything, right? I told the guy I'd share his listing in case someone might be interested. He lived in Long Island but now lives in Southern California. 1991 Mercedes 420 SEL given to DiMaggio at Yankees Stadium. Pm me for his contact info.

He is asking $15k or best offer......the car was given to DiMaggio in 1991 at Yankee stadium at an old timers game to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his 56 game hitting streak. Joe drove the car in Miami FLORIDA from 1991 to 1999 and put about 35,000 miles on it. When he died the car went to his granddaughter who kept it till 2006 then sold at a Joe DiMaggio public auction. The car sold at the auction with 65,000 miles on it. The car now has 65,600 miles and the guy who owns it is the 5th owner since Joe DiMaggio.
