Be careful with whom you choose, I recently saw cards removed by someone that was supposedly a paper conservator that did not end well for the the cards. Apparently they tried to loosen them by dampening the paper and not fully soaking them, resulting in paper pulls and residue.
Soaking cards is not rocket science, there are multiple threads on the subject. Do a search and you will see the before and afters. |

very cool piece...much cooler than the sum of its parts! Is that a ruth card middlish right? What issue? Anyone?
