Maybe. Probably. But the swastika itself is seen way before the Nazi's adopted it. I remember seeing it on some temples in India.

Ironically...I believe it was a symbol of good luck before Hitler adopted it.

Have been there more than once and agree it can be found on temples there.

The swastika was prevalent in many Native American tribal cultures as well.
With the timing of 1938 in mind, I think it is safe to say this was motivated by the Nazi's, even if the tilt is off. |
