Right now it's this W573 with a Café Du Monde ad back. It's the cornerstone of my Louisiana collection. As of right now there are only 2 other Café Du Monde backs known to exist. It might not seem like much to some but I love it.

My favorite is the T206 Walter Johnson Portrait. Beautiful card. (Image borrowed) I do not own one yet but am actively looking and trying to decide what I can afford.

In my collection it's the Colavito Home Run Derby that I've posted before.
Not in my collection would be the horizontal '53 Bowman Reese. That card just looks better and better every time I see it somewhere. |

I don't own this, but have wanted to and even tried in a few auctions. Guess I don't want it as much as others!!!

Always wanted this card - finally got one with a solid appearance and low technical grade; only took 10 years to find the right one!

I collect pre-war, vintage and modern, so I have one for each period.
Favorite pre-war is my Johnson portrait. I look at it at least three times every day. ![]() Vintage, I'm a Clemente nut, and right now, his '71 Topps card is my favorite. ![]() Modern? Definitely my 2009 Bowman Chrome Mike Trout rookie. ![]()

Like many others, I have a hard time picking a favorite. But the Cobb bat on is way up there. I dig the contrast of the grey uniform against the bright background. And the scowl on Cobb's face epitomizes his ferocity.
![]() PS - Bill, keep looking at that Johnson portrait. I love your passion for our hobby!! ![]() Last edited by DeanH3; 07-21-2014 at 03:42 PM. |

I was lucky to find this from an estate sale before it hit any auction houses. The 1914 Jackson card is just special..
