Kershaw Rehab Start - Pics
Kershaw made his first minor league start in seven years yesterday when he pitched 5 innings of 2 hit ball. As Dodgers fans, my wife and I have begun taking our family to their local single-A affiliate Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. We only go to a couple games a year but as luck would have it the game we bought tickets to three weeks ago ended up being the same game Kershaw was assigned to last night. I've never seen a more crowded minor league game in my life.

Years ago I saw Rick Sutcliffe, then with the Cubs, pitch an A-Ball game on a rehab assignment in Kenosha Wisconsin. Tiny Simmons Field was packed. Story was that he bought dinner for the entire team after the game. I wonder how many guys who played that game tell the story of batting against him or of playing behind him?
