T206 v Au
Ok, what does a T206 weigh? , and what is the T206 that is equal to its 'weight in gold' ?
Obviously a T206 Wagner or Plank is well worth over its weight in Gold.. But What is the break even point ? Any ideas? If this thread is bothersome to anyone, I apologize, I thought it would be fun.... Thanks in advance for any info/replies... Frank |

Gold is currently about 1350/ounce So $34 is pretty close My guess is a VG common ungraded. Corollary question is how much does a 520 card set weigh if all the cards are graded? All slabs are not the same weight. My set includes a good number of all three varieties. When I weighed everything including holders for the raw cards, my answer was 81 pounds.

Never thought of it that way, kind of crazy when you do!
As someone who has bought a lot recently, I'd be fine with either going up. Quote:

Peter, I know that, but you said less than one gram. I picked 40, but could have picked any denominator between 28 and 40. If your card wasn't trimmed, it might even weigh more than a gram.

What would each slab have to be made of to weigh 31.1 ounces/card? Lead? You would need a half ton pick-up to take your set to the post office, which you would have to buy to mail it.
