Net54baseball NFL Playoff Pool
With the NFL season ending today, it's time for our 5th annual Net54 Playoff Pool. Anyone can participate and the only requirement is that you have a pulse (and even that can be waived). The rules are simple:
All picks must be in by 4:00 PM on the day of the first game, which is usually right before kickoff. Certainly make sure they are in before the game starts. For the first two rounds it will be Saturday, for the final two Sunday. Just post them on this thread when you've got them. Last year Frank B. did a crackerjack job keeping track and posting weekly standings, and he said he is happy to do it again. If someone else is chomping at the bit to take over, just let us know. All Wild Card games are worth 1 point All Conference Semi-Finals are worth 2 points Conference Finals are worth 3 points each The Superbowl is worth 5 points Whoever gets the most points will win a beautiful never been worn Net54 T-shirt, compliments of our own Leon. Thanks Leon for making it exciting. In the case of a tie, we will cut the T-shirt into equal portions for the winners. Tonight's late game will decide the 12th and final playoff berth, so start posting your picks tomorrow. It's always been fun and this year should be so too. Good luck to everyone. After all we've been through this year, I'm just happy to be in. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll make any noise in the playoffs with this defense, but a new defensive coordinator, a healthy Clay Matthews Jr, and the return of Casey Heyward next year will make the Packers awfully tough to beat. Green Bay will have the best offense in the NFL next year. Better than Denver. With Rodgers handing off to Lacy, Starks and Franklin, and throwing to Nelson, Cobb, Jones, and Boykin at wideout, then Finley and Quarless at tight end, who can stop them?
My picks: Saints vs Eagles-Eagles 49ers at Packers-Packers Chargers at Bengals-Bengals Chiefs at Colts-Chiefs I think the Niners win our game, but there's no way in hell I'll ever pick against my Packers.  Green and Gold is in my blood! Go Pack Go!
