The kids have gone to bed, the Halloween costumes have been put away for another year, and whatever candy remains will be gone by tomorrow.
I still have a sweet tooth, however. And this particular sweet tooth can only be satiated by some E145 Cracker Jack cards. So, let's see your best cards from the 1914 and 1915 sets!!

I'm a sweet tooth as well, and I have about 2.5 extra bags of fun size Snickers/Milky Ways/Butterfingers to feed this beast.
Here are my few CJs... |

Great cards, everybody!
Dean, that Johnson is beautiful. I grew up reading about the Big Train, and the first pre-war Hall of Fame card I bought was his T206 port. I've mulled over collecting a pre-war Hall of Famer as a side project, and I have it narrowed down to three players: Johnson, Eddie Collins and Hughie Jennings. I played second base as a kid, and love think Collins was one of the greatest to ever play the position. Plus, he's in each of "the big three", the T206, Cracker Jack, and Goudey. Jennings intrigues me, and I identify with his enthusiasm. Every time I see a picture of him, or a card with his hands in the air, I want to buy it! Ian, it's almost scary how similar our tastes in cards are. That Alexander, for one, is incredible. I love the diversity in your collection. Willie, the T202s, your CJs...that is exactly what I plan on doing with my own collection, though it might take me a while to build it. Thankfully, I know you will be able to enjoy watching me build it from the ground up ![]() Steven and Rob...just wow. I've been accused of waxing a bit too enthusiastically before, but when I see cards like these, how can I as a collector not absolutely vibrate with glee? Those are incredible. I spent about four hours last night reading everything I could find about the E145-1 and 2, from blog posts on Dean's Cards, to the PSA card fact site, and everything in between. It's amazing to me how few of these cards there really are if one believes the numbers that were supposedly printed. Certainly it seems more of the white border cards survived. It seems we have no shortage of collectors, however. I look forward to seeing everybody else chime in with their own treasures. Thanks for sharing, guys! Edit: Mike, your "only two" have incredible eye appeal. Knowing what I do now about the '14s, it's hard to believe any cards have survived this long in that kind of condition.

A 98 1914? Wow. Look at the registry weight on that sucker. 15
To be honest, Steven, I'm shocked that some of these cards even exist in that high of a grade range.

Wow, these are some beauties. I am working on the 1915 set in PSA 1-ish condition. You are more than welcome to take a look. Not all I have are scanned in yet, though.

Nice cards, the past day or so..I been looking at purchasing my 1st CJ 1914 Cobb
It is only a PSA 1 with a hole at top. Looking at CardTarget..past sales were 2k-2500...until a recent REA (sgc10) sold for over 5k. What would this card be worth placing a bid on? NOT MINE and sorry for outing this, probably gets shill bidded anyways. ![]()

I'm late to the party, but I love looking at these Cracker Jacks on display. I started collecting these a year ago and have about 80. The addiction has taken root.
