Can anyone tell me the difference in size of an adult and youth catchers mask. I am especially interested in the old birdcage cage style from late 1800's the ones with no welding or some welding and some loops. How tall and wide would an adult size be compared to a youth size? Also is there a difference in value of the 2 sizes? Any help would be great.

Hi Ron, I have a youth 1890's mask witch measures 9"x6-1/2". I have an adult, but from early 1900's, which measures 11"x8-1/2". There is a big difference in value and demand in the two types. Here is a good website to look at some guides and photos of early masks.http://vintagecatchersmask.wordpress.com/
