Default What is the fugliest card in your collection?

This grotesque thing floated around ebay for two years. I bid 4 times. The 3rd time it was up I bid $90 and lost. The 4th time I won it for about $75. E107s definitely have value no matter how bad, but still I'm tempted to crack it out and soak it in carburetor cleaner or gasoline. There is a thread up now about GAI grading. I think "Poor" was generous.

That's a great price for an E107. This is probably my uglylist card right now.

I wouldn't kick any of them out of bed so far. Well, maybe Waddell, but he ate crackers in bed. Gotta agree John's doesn't qualify for ugly.

About 20 years ago we got a new puppy. He managed to get at my cards and chewed up 2 or 3. One just so happened to be a 1956 Topps Ted Williams in Ex condition. I was sick, but it was my fault. It almost looked as bad as Waddell. Well, maybe half as bad. I sold it on ebay a couple of years ago for $19 and the guy tried to flip it the next week. He got $14.

Mike, I think you can retire that Waddell. I can't imagine any card topping that one.

The only Goudey I saved from the Lipset set I bought last Spring.

I know it's a hi-res scan, but I really am not trying to encourage anyone from the ohio/kentucky border area to use this as the cornerstone to creating a new set of '33 Goudey forgeries. If anyone really wants a forgery of this card, I'll make you one.

Filled a gaping hole in the HOF collection. It's in two totally separate pieces! Someday, I may have it rebacked.

Shown way too many times, but it fits the thread...

Just about every technical flaw on this one.

Crease? Check.
Paper Loss? Check.
Pinhole? Check.
Non-factory cut on bottom left corner? Check
Scrapbook paper on back? Check
