Help Needed: Where was this photo taken?

Can anyone tell me where this photo was taken? I believe it was taken in 1888 and obviously shows the New York Giants.

Also, can anyone confirm that these are road uniforms and that the Giants' home uniforms would have had a large "N.Y." on the front?

The grandstand in the background is that of the South End (or Walpole Street) Grounds in Boston, between 1888 (when pavilion was built) and 1894 (when in burned). Recognizable players pictured limit the time frame to 1888 or 1889.

This was one of a series of photos taken in 1888 of the National League teams at the South End Grounds in Boston. I've attached a a couple of other photos of this ballpark below (1888 on the left, 1893 on the right).

I believe that the Giants' home uniform that year was plain white, without an "NY" on the front. In earlier years the home uniform shirts had vertical stripes, in black and orange (or some similar color).
