Greetings fellow Collector's,

I have to Admit, "I Love this Photo" of Mr Unitas getting his 1st Down.
I also need to admit, that I know nothing about Photo's of this nature.
I would Love to own this one... I guess I'm just looking for some one who is knowledgeable in this area to somewhat confirm it Authenticity.

Any Help from You Guys would be Very Much Appreciated

Hi Denny,

Since you haven't rcvd a reply about the authenticity of these two photos, I thought I'd reply.

These were obtained directly from the Baltimore Sun archives. So we know their origin.

Secondly, the Balt Sun photographer's stamp is on the back of the photos. Just another clue to their authenticity.

Lastly, you can see date stamps which are within a day of the date on which the 1959 Championship Game occurred.

These are original, period (Type I) photos. They would look great on your wall.

I wanted to wait til after the auction was over to reply, just Because... Not really sure why?

I thought the Photo to be Authentic from the beginning! I was just looking for some back uP... So, Thank You for Chiming iN and sealing the Deal. With All of the Stamps & writing on the Back... I can't believe that anyone would go thru all of trouble to forge a Photo... Then Again, as I mention'd earlier... I'm Clueless iN this area of the Mem world!

Might You have one of Johnny In Action? Maybe Passing or Handing off the Ball?
