On the back of the card it says at GIBBON'S Birmingham,Ct Does that mean it was in Alabama & Connecticut? I've lived my whole life in Ct and never heard of Birmingham in Ct.
Or is that Birmingham Court? Does anybody know? thanks, john |

That's the one. Part of Derby that went under its own name for a while.

Derby is divided into two main sections by the Naugatuck River: East Derby and Derby Center (Birmingham). that was from Wikipedia. thanks, john |

Not sure if it's definitely the place, but in the 1880's there was an E.S. Gibbons Shoe Store in Birmingham, CT.
