As someone who began seriously collecting more than 35 years ago (1977)
it has been fascinating to see how infrequently certain type cards appear in auction. Above and beyond the legendary Fans Cigarettes, it is rare to see high grade examples of (a) N 175 Gypsy Queens (b) Kalamazoo Bat Team Cabinets; (3) High grade T 208 Fireside T 213- 4 color as well as high condition Boston Garters (our favorite) What do you consider to be the most difficult type card to obtain for your collection? Also would be interested in rare, high grade and difficult to find baseball (player or team endorsed) post cards. Look forward to your comments Bruce America's Toughest Want List BDorskind@Dorskindgroup.com |

Been looking for a very strong T214 for sometime, they come up low grade but not mid-to high grade all that often. Same with T215 Pirate.

It seems like there are "finds" of almost everything nowadays. The (espcecially) T231 and T214s have stayed elusive so far. T214s can be had but, you are right John, they just don't come up in mid-high grade too often. I have had these below for approximately 5-10 yrs.
To answer Bruces question though, D351 and D355 have eluded me so far....the quest continues. ![]() ![]()
