The Babe Ruth Story Signed by Ruth and Author - 1st Edition
Have a customer with the book "The Babe Ruth Story" signed by Babe Ruth and the author. Trying to get an idea on value of this. Any input would be appreciated. Having a tough time uploading an image. The signature is beautiful and the book is in excellent condition. It is personalized (with a significant gap between the person it was personalized to and Ruth). Thanks

I was an underbidder on a copy that sold by REA this spring for about 4100 without the juice. That was an inscribed copy and without the dust jacket. It would, of course be more with a nice dj. I am sure that you could add a few hundred for the author's signature although that would not mean much to collectors who are not book specialists. Many collectors do not like inscriptions so the autograph only copies seem to bring more.
