Default A little help, here--

This was from a friend of a friend:

"The card is an autographed Dustin Pedroia 2004, Fleer, Hot Prospects Die Cuts card. It is rated a 9.5 overall rating (gem/mint) and a 10.0 for the autograph. I was told that there were only 17 of these printed and it appears mine is the only one that has been graded. One person told me to get it out of my home and into a safety deposit box. I'm not sure what to think. I believe that none of the other cards have been sold or traded yet so it can't be given a specific value. Beckett, the granddaddy of card ratings, has removed it from their catalog due to its scarcity. Any help would be appreciated."

I don't collect such cards, myself, and would be surprised if it's particularly valuable, but I really don't know. Can anyone give me a ballpark figure on the value of this card?

Thanks.

Doug

Its definitely not a card that will break the bank but it is a good card overall. Value would probably be a couple hundred dollars. Here is a similar card for comparison that went for a little over $250.
