Interesting read as always.That inventory sale was just jumping of the page to my eyes.Im curious as well to the contents of the inventory.

I always look forward to these CCBs. Amazing how JB could keep track of all the various issues, of which baseball is only a fraction. I believe his collection in the Metropolitan Museum consists of over 300,000 cards that he mounted in over 300 albums. I can't imagine putting that many cards into Ultra Pro card pages, let alone having to individually paste them or hinge them onto pages with scoth tape, while suffering from arthritis.

On page six near the bottom, there is an add for "hand-drawn," artist-made baseball cards, in three different series from 1942,1946, and 1947. The sets appear to be quite prolific, with over 500 subjects! Has anyone ever seen these cards? What do they look like?
