Default Lew Lipset Auction

Oh well, I was the high bidder for almost 60 seconds at 12:59am EST on the 1885 Cincinnati (AA) team cabinet w/Bid McPhee. Wish I could afford to go higher but can't. Should be a big mystery as to who is going to get that one............

On the plus side, I was fortunate enough to win the lot of (14) - 1890 Sporting Life Baseball Team Woodcuts and am only interested in keeping one of them (Cleveland - NL) so if anyone here would like any others, please send me a PM and we can work something out.

I had bids in on the d310 and d311 lots. I came away a winner on the d311s - a small group of 10 Oakland Oaks players.

I really only need two players - Wares and Maggert...will probably part with the others.

It drove me crazy not having a clock countdown showing between bids...I just felt like I had no idea when it was ending....but, nothing different for Lew's auctions. He had some really nice items once again.

He's old school no doubt, I kinda like it. At least the auction ended at a decent time too.

Default Nice Auction

Mr. Lipset runs a really nice auction. Congrats to all who won something.
If the winner of lot 192 is on our board and is looking to sell the E98 Orange Clarke, please shoot me a PM or email at stkindler@frontier.com with a price. I am very interested in that card.
Thank You
Tim

I liked it as well...he had ALOT of nice stuff in his auction!! Not knowing when it was going to end was tough, but that is ok. You either bid, or get off the pot!!!
