Default We're Under a Spam Attack

Someone is spamming the board with what looks like illegal prescription medicine. Can somebody stop it?

I wonder if it has something to do with the Egyptian chat room?

Great Charlie Parker tune - lousy breakfast meat product - like downmarket pork roll.

Default hmmm

As most know we have a system for registration that irritates about 2 out of 1000 registrants, with what is required, but it's there for a reason, and this is it. In looking at this registration, it is from today (everyone can see that is when he/it registered as per their public stats). So, I have a folder with every single registrant and contact info in it. When I look at today's 4 registrants there is one with an out of the country phone number. It is NOT the same user info as what is on the board, however, I have a feeling this is a very elaborate set up to get past our defenses..This idiot on the board does NOT come up in my contact folder so that info is not there... Now, we do get a few of those "out of country registrants", and that in and of itself, is not cause for alarm and they generally (but not always) get approved. I have sent some questions to our newest out of country registrant for some more info and banned them until then, as well as the board spammer. Such is life of a chat board moderator. It will probably take me 10 more minutes to delete the rest of their posts.......regards

That's what's great about this forum. There's never a dull moment. Egyptians in the Chat Room yesterday, spam attack today, and who knows what train wreck might show up tomorrow? The Bruces, Joe Jackson sliding into third, Marshall's NOIZE, Chicago, fake Wagners by the truckload, forensic slabbing etc etc . . . what a wild'n'wacky place! Gotta love it.
