looked through some old threads on these and found some very interesting facts but would still like to rehash these a bit.
Is there a reason all the cards don't come with the T.T.T. back? From what I read there are about 55 card on the checklist with this back.

how many different backs are there?

Six cards with a square frame? and only 3 complete sets of these?

Have there been any new discoveries of these?
I guess that should get us started-I think Scott B and Bill C have/had complete sets of these and hope to hear from you and any others please

Got outbid on the Donlin TTT that closed earlier this week on ebay.

Jim, congrats on the Donlin pickup. I'm amazed at how cheap the card went (as well as how cheap I bought mine for). It's such a rare card with the TTT back.

This will always be my favorite set. I bought 10 of them back in the late 80's from Bob Mazzeo at different MA shows. Anyone remember him?

For those who like "investments", the prices then were about $100 or so for a decent common. Adjusted for inflation, I'm in the red on the ones I bought 20+ years ago. I suspect this trend is true of many cards.

They were ridiculously scare then and while the last couple of years have been lean, they're much easier to find. I never expected to be just 2 short of finishing a complete set. Thank you, modern technology.
