Default More photo help...

I have been trying to date the following photo and think I have it narrowed down to 1913 based on the uniforms and if the second picture is Tillie Shafer.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks Mark. That makes it 1913 then for sure.

Now to just figure out the ballpark.

I don't recognize the background - the key is the support structure under the roof. And they do look like road uniforms - but it's hard to tell for sure.

Small grandstands...think Spring Training. Possibly the ballpark in Marlin Springs, Texas.

I think the photo was taken in April of 1913 at one of the ball parks in the Virginia State League. The Giants played the Richmond Colts the first week of April and may have played one of the other teams in the league before or after.
