Default Your Most Hideous Card

Figured this might be a good topic as many of us will stoop to any level to complete a set or acquire a tough type card. I'm talking primarily about condition, though I suppose a weird/creepy pose would suffice, as well. Picked this one up in a trade with a fellow board member for an equally dreadful card several months back. It used to be a 1909 Obak.

Default My specialty

Nice Obak

I could claim this thread as my own as this is the type of stuff I collect...and I love it!

To start here are some caramel HOF'ers: E93 Grifith, E101 Bresnahan, E220 Frisch and E120 Grimes.

"I'd rather have three holes in my card . . . . "

I do have a really trashed 1960 Topps Frank Robinson that I picked up out of a gutter in 1960, but I don't have a scan. Intact, but showing signs of lengthy submersion.

I almost feel like I have to take one of my T cards and do what people do to make a reprint look like an authentic card so that I can properly "contribute" something to this thread.

I hope everyone has a safe and pleasant holiday season.

LOL. what an awesome thread. Some of those cards are pretty HIDEOUSLY DISFIGURED, but authentic at least. I can't wait to see more.

Wow! It looks like my E120 Alexander came from the same collection as JR's Frisch and Grimes, shown above. Cooooool!!! And, I got this two-pieces-for-one Old Judge McPhee 'cause it saved me a butt load of quarters! Merry Christmas, everyone.

Default I used to think this was hideous...

1941 Goudey 27R Bill Crouch 14932823

But after seeing some of the ones posted I think this looks pretty decent now.
