Star stamp

I recently picked up this W572 for my collection:

I believe I've seen this stamp on other member's cards. Is there a story and/or collector behind the star? I did a quick search, but came up emtpy.

I would guess ..... Kids stamp,

Kinda like the "Toy Town Post Office" stamped cards. Added after by a kid who wanted to mark his cards.

To me it give the cards character of the era, and wouldnt hurt a low grade cards value.

Thanks for the reply, Frank. The auction description stated the card had a small ink stamp on the back. There was no picture provided, however. I was happy to see the star stamp on the reverse as I also find they give a card character and a sense of history.
