Vintage 1939 Associated Press Wire Photo

(Also known as a vintage Type III wire transmission photograph)

Washington, May 1, 1938 - Nick Altrock of the Senators couldn't resist having a frolic with Joe Dimaggio who reported for duty today after spending the night in the hospital following a collision with a fellow player.

Credit stamp on back of photo. Front caption type. Incredible clarity for a wire transmission type photo.

Condition - About VG/EX condition with some general handling and edgewear.

Size - About 11 3/4" x 8" inches including caption.
