Elberfeld despite everything that has been done to this card, it still has nice corners.

Love this thread. If bored, please include what you think the selling price of a t206 Wagner in the same condition would sell for…

I'll put some, "E91A" spin to it.
Since I don't have enough $$$ to go for the E107 of each; meet the RC"s for the rest of us, lol. Ben "I love baseball history backstory; especially when it involves cards." Last edited by benge610; 03-26-2022 at 02:45 PM. |

This is my worst tobacco card. A T210 Coyle, Ft Worth that most of the card is paper thin.

I don't have a picture of him alone, but ol' Mordecai has seen better days.
(For that matter, so have Mel and Satch. The Ott card was cut in half, and then somebody glued it back together again.) |

Brian, you have the most fantastic beater collection on this sub. There should be an award for that, maybe a dented, rusty, tin cup trophy with a missing handle.

Here's mine. I wouldn't trade or sell it for anything. Sure, there's other Fred Snodgrass t205's out there, but this one appealed to me. Somehow, it survived.

Might be rough but completed my set . Coincidently swapped 2 other beaters for this one. Thought it was fitting to mention due to the thread topic.

I got this one, and several other with similar, less life-threatening wounds, from Net54 member Paul S (who sadly hasn't posted in some time now), and he got them from the famous/infamous dealer Goody Goldfadden in the 1960's (if I remember correctly).
In my opinion, the midsection is one of the least important areas of the body to be depicted on a baseball card. Brian |
