philly show
Anyone going this weekend? What are you looking for?
I think I will be there. It will be a low key show for me as I will mostly be looking at t206 commons. After picking up a cobb and chief bender, hobby funds are low. |

Friday
I'm pretty sure I'll be there Friday at opening. I have a few cards to get graded by SGC and perhaps consign a few things while looking for T206s.

Perfect....visiting friends in Princeton Friday night and will be driving back home to Maryland on Saturday. Since I'll be passing right by it, guess I'll have to stop in and take a look. I haven't been to a card show since 1985.

I'll be there on Saturday looking for graded 58's and 60's. I'm hoping to pick up the few needs I have left. Anyone know if PSA is going to be there? I have a few to drop off.

2.5 hour drive, $16 in tolls, $8 admission... Nothing new in stock. Have three cards being graded and will probably be immediately consigned.
Anyone find any treasures? |

At least I had a nice chat with Al and consigned a few cards.

I went to drop stuff off with SGC, too. I agree, nothing really out of this world or particularly rare, but there were a few fun things to stare at. An 1880's pencil case with a lacquered baseball scene was my favorite, but I didn't come home with it.
It really seems that the dozens of auctions have entirely replaced all other venues (ebay, shows) for finding interesting stuff these days. |

I was at the show this evening. Picked up two lower dollar pre war cards. Enjoyed talking with Bill Zimpleman of Shoebox cards. Same faces/same stuff, but it was fun to get out and stretch the legs a little.

I, too, was there today the whole time. Really enjoyed talking to Al of LOTG, which was the highlight of attending the show.

I had a decent time last night. Al c. Was great, and I caught up with Kevin Savage who I hadn't seen for a while. I even picked up a short-print T222 and did some post-war set building. Did anyone else notice some dealer was set up in a trailer in the parking lot? It came across as a bit dodgy and I didn't go in...
