bruce dorskindWhilst I greatly enjoy the Board and welcome the
comments of the new collectors and new members,
I am quite disappointed that so very few of the recent
pick ups are super high grade cards.
A rough calculation of Feb-April pick ups indicates that
less than 3% of the cards shown were graded 7 or higher.
It is only when Marshall Fogel or another long-time
collector posts that we have the opportunity to see
the high (or highest) graded speciments.
Furthermore, there are virtually no 7's, 8's or 9's for
sale on the B/S/T section.
Do we have to wait for the quarterly Mastro auction
or the annual REA auction to see the hobby's finest
material...
When it comes to rare baseball cards, nothing is
more important than the quality of the image. Next is .the grade!!
Thanks,
Bruce
