I kind of filter this stuff like a pop rock band covering a Beatles song and then asking a 60 year old Beatles fan whether they like it or not.
It's not for "old timers". 95% of the people who get this card have no idea who Speaker is. But, it'll go for a decent chuck of change because of the other 2 names. I'm suprised Topps even knows who Speaker is... I still collect some modern stuff and I like Topps, but, this is another world entirely.

Absolutely of no interest to me, (along with Helmar stuff).

It would be cool to see how they make these but brutal seeing the bats and jerseys cut up, unless they just take any old bat and clothing and claim it to be what it is. It was pretty disgusting to see them cut up the Gehrig jersey but nothing is sacred for the almighty dollar.

I would not buy this and do not buy any products from companies that knowingly destroy genuine memorabilia by cutting it into little pieces.

No one likes these modern jersey cards on this board because they have little experience in handling them, and thus have little appreciation for the benefits.
You see, these cards were invented with one thing in mind: you have to rub the little swatches with your index finger a few times at least once a week. Sometimes I rub first and then scratch and sniff. Not only does it give you good luck, but if you touch a piece of metal right after, it sends an electric charge up your hand! Neat huh?
