Default so sad

I was just on ebay and i had seen a 2010 toppss t206 johnny evers jersey card. I dont understand why anyone would want to cut up theses peices of baseball history. These players didnt wear new jerseys every game like players today. they might of had 1 or 2 jerseys per season i dont know the exact numbers. I know why the card companys do it to make money but still they should be preserved whole.

I agree completely. They are destroying a historical relic.

Corporate greed trumps historical relics every time.

Default Any idea

Does anyone know how these card companies obtain these jerseys? Do they win them in auctions, people donate, buy outright?

Don't feel sad...if I know Topps at all, they tried to save money and probably bought it from Coach's Corner.
