March Pickups
I need to final "big four" for my Presidential collection and went ahead and added these pieces of 3/4. I thought they were a fun collectible to add to the collection. Found a dealer that had some great examples. They display very nicely!!

Signed T206 Players
Really enamored with my latest T206 player autograph. This Ollie Pickering almost looks like a signed pre-war card—maybe black & white unissued T206 batting proof? Really happy with this one.
Always looking to add to my signed T206 player collection, if anyone has any to offer!

Cool Ollie Pickering autograph...
Nice pickup there of Pickering, the first batter in American League history! Here's a link to a letter handwritten by Pickering.

Deacon Phillippe
Here's Deacon Phillippe's signature on a government postcard from 1948. He sure had an interesting career. He grew up in the Dakota Territory before it split into to and became a state. It was so remote that big league talent evaluators didn't find him until he moved to Minnesota.
Phillippe threw his first pitch in the majors two months before his 27th birthday. He still put up six 20-win seasons. He still holds the record for lowest walk per nine rate and many World Series records. Here's a story about how his late big league start probably cost him a chance at Cooperstown. This Phillippe signature is on CooperstownExpert.com on Phillippe's page. The autograph site has pages for every Hall of Famer and a few hundred other guys. |

1919 White Sox Mascot/Batboy & Clubhouse Boy(s)
I picked up an Eddie Bennett signature from a net54 member for my most expensive transaction on here and it was so smooth!
I also recently picked up these two signed photos Ephraim "Sharkey" Colledge and his brother Art "Jack" "Sharkey" Colledge (from 1936) The Colledge brothers were both nicknamed Sharkey and worked for the White Sox as kids in 1906 and both retired in 1966, Ephraim was long time equipment and clubhouse manager and Art worked it looks like on and off ending up the visiting clubhouse manager. Both, and even a 3rd brother Harry, are present in the official 1933 American League All-Star game photo...and one of them is the 1919 White Sox team picture that appeared in the World Series program and 1920 Reach Guide...though it's pretty impossible to tell which one as he was only IDed as "Sharkey, clubhouse boy". These two with Eddie Bennett who was a mascot/batboy for the 1919 White Sox and likely one of the boys on the far left in the same team photo make for some obscure and hard to find examples of people associated and present in one 1919 White Sox team photo...anyway I am excited to land all 3 of these. If I remember correctly, Eddie Bennett was also the bat boy for the Yankees for many years, including the 1927 team.

I got back an 8x10 that was at the Nolan Ryan Foundation for 3 weeks. Even had very nice correspondence from an individual there.

Hap Felsch Signed 3x5
Excited to finally cross this one off the want list! Makes 4.5 out of 8 Black Sox (.5 for my Mrs Joe Jackson). Now need to hope the Lefty Williams check comes back up for sale.

Thomas, that's just a thing of beauty. I'm extremely jealous. Where did you end up finding that one?
