Of course my 52 but I am also real fond of this pic of my Uncle Sam with Mickey Mantle at the 1958 World Series too. (Dizzy Trout is the man in the glasses who my Uncle Sam was friends with)

My favorite Mick of all-time will always be the '56 Topps, but here lately - I'm pretty fond of this recent SGC return:

There are several I like, but lately I have been enjoying '53 Bowman Color.

One of my favorite Mantle items.

Very happy I got to see him play a few times in person.

I was surprised this hadn't yet been posted. Great looking card of The Mick from his Triple Crown season.

Having grown up in the late '40's & '50's in NYS, Mick fast became my All-Time favorite player. Here are a couple of my Mantles i bought in packs back in the day. The '57 was one of the 1st cards I ever had graded.

Raymond— the Mantle Mask or Plaque has for many years been listed in the SCD Standard Catalog as a Topps product that you could send away for. Supposedly it was offered on high # 1963 packs. I have never seen a pack with the offer. There is some doubt as to it’s actual origin. But it is scarce and because of it’s Catalog listing usually goes for decent money.

Below is a link to some info on it from the great blog of Dave Hornish

Always thought this was a neat variation. (Not the sideways variation).
