I am selling this find of these cards now...
We rarely talk about either R308 Tattoo Orbit or R329 Foto Fun cards. So here are a few from a small group I picked up, just so folks can see some ![]() More on the other few cards later... R308 Issued in 1933 by Orbit Gum Company, a division of Wrigley Much scarcer than Orbit's R305 cards issued the same year Numbered on fronts from 151 through 207; blank backs Often referenced as "High Numbers" due to numbering on cards Rare R308-2 subset uses same design but much larger format Examples from each of the R308 subsets are compared below R329 Produced by Foto-Fun Films of Cincinnati, Ohio More than 90 major league players and managers Blue-tinted photo "appeared" when developed in light Packet included thin cardboard frame to display player photo Simulated woodgrain frame measures about 2-3/4 x 3-5/8 inches Photo negatives in pack could be re-used Instructions on back of cardboard frame (credit OldCardboard for above info) ![]()

Interesting. I have a nice Tatoo Orbit Red/Yellow Gabby Harnett, and have seen those from time to time, but never knew there was another completely different Orbit set. Nice cards, Thanks.

![]() ![]() I guess the kid who owned this one really wanted to make sure it was #176. This one too; I guess numbers are hard to remember: ![]() Here are the three boxers in the issue, from the entertainment group. All were issued in connection with the MGM film The Prizefighter and the Lady. ![]() ![]() ![]()

When Net54 gets all R308 inquisitive, I always like to break out the below group scan for size comparisons. The scan also showcases that poses were shared between the three issues.

The foto funs never seem to show up anywhere. I've been looking for a Billy Sullivan foto fun for 20 years and I've only ever even seen one one time (posted here on Net54) and it wasn't for sale
