1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan Rookie Card #57 BGS 9.5
Hello,
I am seriously considering buying this 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan Rookie Card #57. This card achieved a Beckett grading of 9.5. Everything checks out to me, but before spending such a large amount of money, I wanted to see if anyone thinks there is reason to question the authenticity of the grading and card. Should there be any paperwork in addition to the slab? These pictures aren't the best, but they are all that I have for the time being. Thanks in advance. Reece |

Looks fine to me. Do you have any reason to question it? Is the seller reputable with good references?

Fantastic card I would like to get one but I have twins going to college next year: 17 years ago should have bought 20 of each instead for their 529s...

Or you could pay 5 figures for an ungraded one (from a seller that just sold a Jordan rookie of "unknown authenticity" for a few hundred bucks earlier this month)
It's just flabbergasting. I guess that the bidders are hoping for a PSA 9 or miracle 10, and at first glance, it looks real. But such a risk to take. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1986-87-Fle...-/353335684332 |

Thanks for the feedback and references. The seller was on Craigslist, so not a person who I know personally or inherently trust. After brief correspondence and requesting more pictures of the card/slab and the slab's patent number, I haven't heard back from the seller. If I end up picking it up, I'll send an update. Thanks once again.

Apparently there are fake BGS slabs being made. There were two Luka’s pulled from Probstein yesterday.
