Post Your 3 Favorites
Picking a top 3 is tough, and mine could change by the day. But for today, here are my favorite 3 (any player, not just those posted below)
Post your top 3 favorites; not your most valuable or rarest, but the three you like the best, and quick story as to why for each. 1. T206 Plank -- Well, because its a Plank and because its one of the prettiest examples I have ever seen. 2. E92 Crofts Cocoa Cobb -- I love this pose and the combo is super tough. I am thrilled to own it. 3. T216 Mino Wagner -- I love Wagner, I love this pose/card, and this is a super tough front/back combo. Lets see some of your favorites. Awesome, but to clarify your top 3 do not have to be Plank, Cobb, and Wagner. They can be any player(s).

The sheet because I think it's pretty cool
The Wagner because it's as close as I'll get to the T206 The K-Zoo team because, well, Ol' Hoss and friends on one card is damn awesome for an early Boston collector like me |

In no particular order: 1. 1910 PC796 Cobb/Wagner SGC 1.5!!! - I like it because the biggest stars in the game were shaking hands before the 1909 WS. Plus the hobby friendship I made while purchasing it at The National 2019 from Don Hontz. Don was selling Cobb postcards at the show like it was a flash sale. 2. 1913 M101-3 Sporting News Ty Cobb PSA 1. I was wanting to purchase this card at The National 2019 as well but I bought PC796 cobb/Wagner instead. I purchased a PC796 Honus Wagner psa 2 in Heritage a few weeks prior so it made sense. I love the image on the card. The hint of color on his face makes this card pop. 3. 1907 Dietsche Ty Cobb Batting Rookie SGC 3. It was my first Postcard purchase and it was a must have for my collection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll play for the lower grade lovers on the board and the budget collectors.
In no particular order: 1. Frank Baker and Eddie Collins (These count as one cause they go together and I don't know what they are) 2. T215 Red Cross Purtell (from the Jersey City collection) 3. E93 Mathewson (love this card) .

I have too many favorites to pick just 3. But, being as I absolutely love (1) having 1-of-1 cards (per the pop reports), and (2) having real-photo, b & w cards, I'll go with these 3 WaJos, which meet these criteria:

Rice version, 1922 Haffner's Bread, 1922 Keating Candy, 1922 Witmor Candy Type 2 (vertical back), 1926 Sports Co. of Am. with ad & blank backs. Also T216 Kotton "NGO" card of Hugh Jennings. Also 1917 Merchants Bakery & Weil Baking cards of WaJo. |

My three favorites. Bush was one of my first T206 rare backs and has always been my favorite. I never thought I'd own an e107 HOFer, and I'm in awe every time I look at them.

Jamie and Bryan......I really appreciate your kind words regarding my Mantle.
Credit really goes to my Mom and Aunt, who saved all my "goodies" from my youth when I was away in the Air Force. Ryan......as you said in your opening statement......" Picking a top 3 is tough..... ". So, if you don't mind, I am adding these two "gems" to my above 3-card display. This UZIT completes my 13-card run of this McGraw. This card is unique (until another McGraw/UZIT is discovered). And, favorite Cobb.....which (near) completes my AMERICAN BEAUTY 460 run (72 of 74 cards) . TED Z T206 Reference . |

Mine changes by the hour!
Before I post them, let me say that I used to own the 52' Topps Mantle in my 20s. I was too busy working, getting drunk and chasing girls, and the card just sat there collecting dust. Eventually I sold it. I have attached it below. My top 3 right now can be seen below the Mantle. I am always open to trading for a 1951 Bowman Mantle. |

Kind of like picking favorite kids here:
Today I'll go with... 1. D381 Fleischmann Cobb, impossibly rare card from the set, took years to land this one! 2. 1907 Detroit seemless Cobb PC RC , one of rarest and earliest cards of Ty 3. C.1925-26 RPPC of Ruth, wife, Fred Merkle and Brother Matthias sitting in new car that I believe was a gift from Ruth outside of St. Marys school.

Yep. First “card”. Pre-dates his ‘48 Bowman by five years. There is also a ‘43 Monterrey Team postcard with Campy.
There are some earlier photos of Campy with the Baltimore Elite Giants if you’re into that sorta stuff.
