Base ball Correspondence booklet by Howe

Yesterday we came across this Irvin Howe Base ball Correspondence school 48 page booklet about pitching. There is a article on how to pitch by each player shown on the cover.

For the collectors that have this 48 page booklet is there a time-line when this was published and circulated.--thanks!

It has been awhile since I collected post 1900 books, but what I remember about this item is that it was first available in 1914, both for sale and given free
for subscriptions and such. I recall seeing ads from 1914, and I would not be surprised they continued to be available for several years. There were a number of different covers, most common seemed to be with Walter Johnson on the cover, which was pink. I think there a few other color covers and at least one with the pitcher’s names, but no photo. I think the contents were the same, but again, it has been awhile. I used to think they were very undervalued at 10 to 20 dollars, but I am sure they are more now and probably not as common.
I am pretty confident in the 1914 date as the introduction.

I've seen pink, blue, and white Walter Johnson covers. Not sure if the one with just the names on the cover came in different colors, but maybe. Don't know if the insides are exactly the same on all the variations. Not a rare item, but like everything else has been getting "collected up" for years and is harder to find now than it used to be.
